ABOUT ERIN

Erin Chelius is the principal designer and owner of Chelius House of Design. With a strong background in the creative arts, specifically fashion styling, Erin graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2004, and prior to that earned a BA in Communications/Advertising from California Lutheran University. Following her work as a fashion stylist and eventually managing a high-end luxury clothing boutique, she found her true passion for styling in interior design. Allowing Erin to utilize many of the same skills she had honed and groomed in the fashion styling world, it was a seamless and organic transition to put those skills to use in creating a fresh, timeless aesthetic for the spaces she designs. Erin currently resides in Oak Park, CA with her husband Craig, and her two children, Caden and Ella.

Being born and raised in Southern California, Erin pulls much of her inspiration from the laid-back coastal vibes she has spent all of her life in and around. As a mother of two young children, she understands the importance of designing spaces that don’t just look stylish and pretty, but are also functional, comfortable, and practical, while holding up to the day-to-day wear required of real life. At Chelius House of Design we provide busy families and professionals with a full-service experience that is individually catered to each client’s unique needs, enabling us to take your house and turn it into your home.
